Program Information:?
Artistic masterpieces, delicious tapas, wide plazas, charming locals, and a city that takes off after the sun sets: this is Madrid. Prepare to be in awe—that is, until you settle in and make this city your own. During your Semester in Madrid, you’ll study at Madrid’s Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, a private university with a strong campus culture of academic quality, social integration, and student support. The heart of Madrid is a short walk from campus. Soak in some rays on Nebrija’s outdoor terrace, fuel up at a nearby café, or practice your Spanish as you stroll down Gran Villa to the famous Plaza del Sol. Madrid marches to its own beat and you’ll quickly catch on.

Location:
Madrid is both the capital of Spain and the country's largest city. It's home to four million people, and is Spain's center for art, shopping, cuisine, film, and politics. Don't be intimidated by the city's impressive size—it offers something for every traveler. Madrid's public transportation system makes it easy for students to travel through the city.

Be sure to tour some of Madrid's famous museums, like the Prado Museum, which contains one of the most impressive collections of European art. If politics and government interest you, check out the Parliament building. Food lovers will rejoice at the streets lined with every culinary treat and option imaginable. If you're more of a night owl, then Madrid's legendary nightlife will keep you entertained. It's not uncommon to encounter more traffic after midnight than you do during the day.

For a city with options for every mood, look no further than Madrid. From ancient cobblestone streets to bustling boulevards, Madrid will keep you charmed and entertained during one of the best semesters of your life.
